Anthony “Tony” DeRosa founded WestVest Associates in 1993 and is acting President. He began his career while still attending the University of South Florida. His leadership and keen eye for business, quickly positioned him as an expert and business aggregator in Miami-Dade and Broward counties. Early on, Tony became acknowledged as a top producer and expert of the Miami International Commerce Center, a 4.2 million square footage project. Since then, he has been recognized as grandfather of the Airport West Industrial Parks and has been in the heart of this booming community.

Tony’s success can be attributed to his old fashioned approach to personalized business service and his passion for the latest technology. With hundreds of millions of dollars in commercial production -- an excess of $500 million, Tony has been instrumental in molding the landscape of commercial real estate in South Florida and the newly incorporated City of Doral.

Having a deep understanding of the market needs, his scope of business includes full service real estate, project management, strategic consulting, land and retail development as well as property management. Tony has developed several projects throughout Florida, including multi-housing residential communities, luxury high-end residential development. office buildings, retail centers and most recently has developed a new concept in the extended stay housing industry.

Throughout the years, Tony has sustained himself and WestVest Associates as a market leader focusing on servicing the niche of the growing smaller to medium-sized international businesses. He has formed several companies and partnerships and has invested in tenant warehouse complexes, retail centers, residential land, and management of flex properties.

Tony’s commitment to the South Florida community makes him a true industry leader. He is past-president of the Realtors Commercial Alliance of Greater Miami and the Beaches, Director of the Florida Association of Realtors, a member of the Industrial Association of Dade County, the International Council of Shopping Centers, One Doral, and the Doral Business Council.

Tony is a native South Floridian is married and has two children.

Hector began his career at WestVest Associates in 1999, where he has consistently displayed a highly motivated and energetic approach that has led him to become the top producer of the firm. Through his hard work and dedication, he has deservingly earned the title of Managing Director leading his own group of sales people. Hector has dealt with more than a million square feet and over 250 million dollars in commercial real estate transactions involving industrial warehouse space, office, and investment deals. In 2006 alone Hector sold over 50 million dollars in real estate.

Highly respected in the international business community, with foreign investors and corporations, Hector has established strong relationships in the City of Doral and with top business owners in Miami-Dade County. Some of his more noticeable deals are; the sale of PBSJ’s 100,000 sq. ft office building in Doral to a private investor, the lease of over 138,000 sq. ft in Medley to Naca Logistics, and the sale of 100,000 sq. ft Warehouse next to Miami International Airport’s cargo gate.

Hector understands the needs and the direction of this industry in this market. His hands-on involvement as a transaction broker and dealing with his own investments, have allowed him to acquire a full view and clear perspective of the business aspect. He is a member of the Realtors Commercial Alliance of Greater Miami and is currently a candidate for CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member).

In addition to his commitment to the success of his career, he is also involved in the community and with charitable organizations. He contributes with Children International, Mission Child, the March of Dimes and Good Samaritan Outreach. He is a trustee member of the Doral Business Council and the Vice Chair of the DBC Forum.

Hector was born in Medellin, Colombia and for several years lived in Venezuela before immigrated to Miami, Florida in 1991. Since then, he has made South Florida his home.

As a top producer for WestVest, Frank Trelles is dedicated to helping people sell or lease industrial properties in the South Florida market. In addition to being an expert in industrial buildings, he is well-versed in investments properties thus making him a valuable resource for his clients and colleagues.

Through the years, Frank has developed a knack for identifying trends and anticipating the market, which allows him to match his clients with the investment that best suits them. By helping people to operate at the top of their game, growing their businesses and getting return on investment, has helped Frank build strong, long-lasting relationships in the industry. Before starting his real estate career, Frank was the Administrative Director for Miami Dade College. Frank holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from the University of South Florida.

Sal Salvatierra has over 20 years in the Real Estate Profession. He is a licensed Realtor, Mortgage Banker, NASDAQ License 22 and 66.

Mr. Salvatierra is also a Certified Exchange Advisor and has specialized in the 1031 Exchange and Cost Segregation disciplines. Sal has been known for applying his knowledge of the IRS Tax Code and leveraging it to his client’s advantage when purchasing, selling or holding commercial real estate.

Mr. Salvatierra is charted to educate the Real Estate community on the merits and intricacies of the 1031 IRS Tax Code and Cost Segregation 1250 and 1245 IRS Tax Code, by administering Continuing Education Seminars.

Mr. Salvatierra is also a member of the CCIM, CREW, FEA, and the Commercial Alliance of Realtors; he is active on committees and is also a recognized speak for these organizations. Sal graduated from City College of NY with degrees in Computer Technology and Business Management.
